Street art workshop for teenagers

ΔΡΑΣΕΙΣ 2022 2023 «Νέ@ σε έρημο νησί»web

The Cyprus Theatre Organisation is re-opening the doors of Apothikes Theatre for the fourth consecutive year and through a new series of actions invites the youth to search for and explore their unique voice via the medium of theatre and beyond.

Neoi se Erimo Nisi will take place at Apothikes Theatre under the creative direction of Irene Andreou, Giannis Karaoulis and Eleni Moleski and will offer a multidimensional creative and educational programme. Performances, workshops, talks and screenings aim to bring even more young people closer to the arts and the world of theatre.

This year too, the actions aim to be experience-based, participatory and inclusive, encouraging youth to learn by playing and play by learning, socialising and discovering the richness of the arts and the joy of creation. The first cycle of 2022 launches with a three-day graffiti workshop by Cypriot street artist Twenty Three. On September 2, 3 and 4, teens aged 14 to 18 will co-create a stencil which will be the new logo of the Actions 2022-2023 and as such leave their mark in Apothikes Threatre.
