Cyprus will see higher temperatures and dust from Monday onwards before conditions turn more unsettled by the end of the week.
According to the met office, dust will remain suspended in the atmosphere, with “concentrations… increased at times”.
The weather will be mainly clear with periods of high cloud, and temperatures will reach around 24 degrees in Nicosia and 22 in Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos.
Overnight, skies will become partly cloudy, with temperatures falling to around 12 degrees in Nicosia, 14 degrees in Limassol and Larnaca and near 10 degrees in Troodos.
On Wednesday and Thursday, conditions will remain partly cloudy at times.
The met office said temperatures will “gradually rise noticeably”, moving above seasonal averages.
By Friday, the weather will become more unsettled, with “isolated rain at times, without ruling out the possibility of a storm”, and a slight drop in temperature.
Dust will remain present in the atmosphere throughout the period, with levels varying.
