Lagarde, ECB board due in Cyprus next month

President of the European Central Bank (ECB), Christine Lagarde, will be in Cyprus next month.

This will be her second visit to the island this year.

This time the President of the ECB will be accompanied by the Governing Council of the ECB, which will meet on the island on October 5.

The first visit of Lagarde as head of the ECB took place on March 30 following the invitation of the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus and member of the ECB’s Board of Directors, Constantinos Herodotou.
