Man stopped driving at 209km per hour

Police on Sunday stopped a 45-year-old man driving 209km per hour on the Paphos-Limassol highway.

According to the police spokesperson, members of the Avdimou traffic police conducting routine checks near Kouklia, intercepted the man driving 109km per hour over the limit.

The Paphos resident was taken to the police department, charged in writing and released to be summoned to court at a later date.
