Man in custody for theft of €6,100 and other valuables from parked car

Police have taken into custody a 26-year-old man for theft of a large amount of money as well as property from a car parked on the beach in Paphos.

According to police statement evidence and testimony emerged against a 26-year-old Cypriot resident for the theft which involved a sum of €6,100 as well as other items with a total value of approximately €5,800.

The 26-year-old was arrested and taken into custody while Paphos CID are continuing investigations.
