Voters lists for archbishopric elections to be distributed on Monday

Preliminary voters lists for the archbishopric elections for will be distributed to every community and church in Cyprus on Monday.

The move is part of the Church of Cyprus’ efforts to carry out the elections in a timely manner, an announcement said. The archbishopric elections are slated for December 18.

Names of people who requested they are struck off have been removed from the list. New registrations have not been included in the preliminary lists however they will be added before the elections.

The list will be with one authorized individual who cannot disclose information to third-parties.

On Tuesday, the church is expected to include a ‘know where to vote’ section on its website https://churchofcyprus.org.cy
