Paphos police tackle noise pollution and scooters

Thirteen fines were issued in Paphos over the last three days in a coordinated operation to crack down on noise pollution, according to police spokesperson, Michalis Nikolaou.

The fines were issued to establishments for broadcasting music without a license.

Nikolaou said that police also issued 167 traffic fines in the last three days, of which 10 for use of scooters on high speed roads, while most of the remaining fines were issued for speeding and drunk driving.
