Space for your wish

kolla

Limassol space, Kolla, Factory of Culture, is organising a day full of arts and crafts, music, local creatives and workshops. This Sunday, it is putting together the Space for Your Wish event. From 2pm to midnight, the day will include performances, a pop-up Christmas market, DJ sets, a kids’ zone and plenty of artsy workshops.

Friends, families, young and adult visitors are invited to this end-of-the-year multisensory fiesta. Music, food and drink trucks will put visitors in a fun, festive mood while they explore the creations of local artists and participate in creative craft workshops.

Guests can choose to take part in a collage workshop making art out of old magazines, books and newspapers to create Christmas cards, posters or gifts. The Clayscape of Dreams workshop uses raw clay and hand-building tools to imagine how 2023 will look by sculpting dream visions of the new year. The Upcycled fabric collective art installation invites visitors to join the process of creating a Christmassy landscape using upcycled fabrics with the technique of weaving on a metal fence.

Then a Recycled mosaic art workshop will take place showing participants how to make Christmas mosaic ornaments, using recycled materials such as glass, tiles, stones and beads. Lastly, a Festive ornament workshop will use paper straws to create 3D decorations with the traditional himmeli method from Finland and give it some finishing touches with aromatic plants from the mountains of Cyprus.
