Karpasia church service on Epiphany Day

An epiphany church service will be held in the village of Ayia Triada, Karpasia in the north, the community announced on Wednesday.

In a written statement, the community said that the Bishop of Karpasia Christoforos will conduct the church service at the village’s Ayia Trias church on Friday.

The service will begin at 8am and will finish at 10.30am.

After the service, a blessing of the water ceremony will be held at the small beach near the Ayios Thyrsos church in the area.

The community said that if there is enough interest from people, buses will be provided.
