Cyprus' ambassador to China Martha Mavrommati with Xi Jinping

The Cypriot ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Martha Mavrommati, presented her credentials to President Xi Jinping during a joint ceremony with other ambassadors on Wednesday.

During the official ceremony, which was held in the Great Hall of the People, the Chinese president delivered a speech to all the new ambassadors, welcoming them and asking them to convey his warm wishes to the leaders and peoples of their states.

During his speech, President Xi Jinping also pointed out that China is ready to deepen friendship and expand mutually beneficial cooperation with all countries, on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, and promote the further development of bilateral relations.
