Foreign ministry expresses solidarity with Serbia after school shooting

The foreign ministry sent a support message to Serbia on Wednesday following news that a boy killed eight children and a security guard in a school shooting in Belgrade.

In a tweet, the foreign ministry referred to the “devastating news” saying “our thoughts are with the families of the victims and with all those who have been affected by this tragedy.”

“Cyprus stands by the people and Government of #Serbia during this difficult time,” it added.
