Limassol man arrested for illegal drugs possession

Police on Wednesday arrested a 25-year-old man for a case of possession of illegal drugs with intent to supply and money laundering.

Members of the Limassol crime prevention unit stopped the suspect for a check half an hour after midnight. The man was found in possession of 87g of cannabis as a result of which he was arrested for evident offences.

Police also found 77g of what are believed to be Ecstasy pills, 18g of a substance believed to be cocaine, and €725.

The suspect was taken into custody while investigations continue.
