Police investigating spate of burglaries in Paphos, two arrested

Paphos police on Tuesday arrested two people for illegal possession of burglary tools.

According to the police, officers stopped the two suspects in their vehicle on Ikaros street at which point they abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee.

Police chased down and arrested the two men. In a vehicle check which followed police found burglary tools.

Police are examining whether these items are related to a spate of burglaries and thefts reported recently in Paphos.
