Three stabbed in Limassol knife attack

Police in Limassol were looking into a stabbing incident that took place at 2am on Thursday in a central part of town.

According to a police statement, three people, aged 20, 21 and 35, were attacked by another group of five individuals, who are yet to be identified.

The three victims were rushed to the Limassol general hospital. One of them, the 35-year-old, is in serious condition, as he was stabbed in the chest.

The 20-year-old reported severe injuries to his left forearm, left thigh, head, and torso. Both are still being treated.

The 21-year-old received first aid care for an injury on his left forearm and was later discharged.
Police are investigating the incident to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
