A Dhekelia British bases court case for the murder of Charalambos Constantinides has been adjourned to give the defendant’s new lawyer time to study the case files.
Court procedures will resume on July 24.
Constantinides, 52, from Paralimni, was murdered on June 25 at an autobody paint shop on the Ormidia-Xylophagou road, within the British bases area.
On Wednesday the new defence lawyer for 45-year-old Costas Antoniou requested procedures be postponed to give her time to study the case files.
Antoniou, who has already confessed to the murder in court, will remain in custody until July 24.
