Bank of Cyprus (BoC) is supporting the island’s Olympic athletes who will participate in the Paris Games.

Already, the Bank, as a “Gold Partner”, has supported the Cyprus Olympic Committee (KOE) financially in its effort to create favourable conditions for the athletes representing our country in the world’s premier sporting event, the 2024 Olympic Games.

Since June, BoC has shown videos posted on social media networks featuring two female athletes and one male athlete. The content of the videos was created in collaboration with Cablenet, which is also a KOE Partner.

Viewers can follow Andri Christoforou share about the road cycling discipline, Marios Georgiou on gymnastics and Marilena Makri on sailing. Also appearing in the videos are members of the athletes’ support team, who explain how they bolster them in their training and efforts.

Through the videos, we see our athletes in daily moments, drawn both from their mundane life, and their training sessions, while we also learn more about their individual disciplines. We experience their emotion and listen to their struggles. They share the sacrifices they make each day, as well as the cost of their training on their personal lives, their family and their friends.
