Increased cloud cover and strong winds will be observed on Monday in the western half of the island, with clouds later spreading to other regions. Temperatures will rise to 31C in the interior and on the southeast and east coasts, 29C on the west, southwest and north coasts, and 22C in the higher mountains. Winds will be mainly south- to north-westerly, moderate to strong, up to 5 Beaufort later on the south coast, turning to very strong, 6 Beaufort. The sea will be rough.

Overnight will be cloudy in the west, and north, and in the mountains. Temperatures will drop to 18C in the interior, 22C on the west and north coasts, 20C on the remaining coasts, and 10C in the higher mountains. Winds will be mainly south- to north-westerly, initially moderate to strong, up to 5 Beaufort gradually abating to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea will become slightly rough.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the weather will be mostly clear with temperatures seeing a slight rise to reach the seasonal norm.
