Cyprus’ independence day will be marked by increased cloud cover over parts of the island, with short periods of isolated rain, mostly in the southern half of the island.
Temperatures are set to rise to 30 degrees Celsius inland and on the coasts, and 22 degrees Celsius in the mountains.
Overnight, the skies will largely be clear, with temperatures set to drop to 17 degrees Celsius inland, 19 degrees Celsius on the coasts, and 12 degrees Celsius in the mountains.
Clear skies will prevail through most of Wednesday and Thursday, though there may be increased cloud cover in some areas on both afternoons. The skies will then be clear across the whole island throughout Friday.
Temperatures will remain stable throughout the rest of the week.
