Next week, another bazaar is hitting the town. The season calls for it as every autumn, in the lead-up to a busy Christmas period, the What’s On calendar fills with creative and crafty markets and bazaars showcasing the island’s artists. This upcoming one shines a light on something slightly different though – sustainability.

The Sustainable Bazaar is coming to Nicosia on November 9, taking over the grounds of New Division bar from 10am to 6pm. The all-day event is all about sustainable fashion and vintage goodies. A variety of sellers will display second-hand items, accessories and clothes with the aim of giving them a new home. In this way, the bazaar encourages a circular economy, moving away from fast fashion and impulse buys and embracing sustainable living.

“Dive into a treasure trove of pre-loved and vintage clothing, trendy accessories, and quirky home decor pieces that tell a story,” say organisers. “Plus, check out stunning creations from local designers who are shaking up the fashion scene with their eco-friendly styles.

“Whether you’re hunting for that perfect statement piece or just want to soak in the good vibes, this is the place to be!”
