Paphos has signed a contract for the installation and management of additional mobile rubbish compactors to boost sustainable waste management, the municipality announced.

The contract was signed on Thursday by Mayor Phaedonas Phaedonos and Director of Fast Skip Ltd Stylianos Antoniou.

The deal entails the installation of three mobile waste compactors and their management, as well as that of two existing ones.

The total value of the contract amounts to €63,520 plus VAT, while its validity period is for 24 months from the date of commencement of implementation, with the right to renew for another year.

The collaboration is intended to upgrade municipal cleaning, health and sanitation services, boost effectiveness, and modernise waste management, the municipality said.
