The Football Association has agreed to a ‘significant’ pay rise for the women’s national team, reports said on Tuesday.

The pay rise was agreed at a meeting held a day earlier between association officials and representatives of the female football players.

The offer reportedly satisfied the players.

The women’s national team next play Malta and Georgia, on February 21 and 25, respectively, for the Nations League.

The games will take place at the AEK Arena stadium. Entrance is free. The fixtures will be broadcast live on Cytavision.
