Police arrested two individuals, aged 21 and 22, for incidents of violence that took place during the Limassol Carnival parade earlier this month.
According to the police, three men, two aged 32, and a 33-year-old, who were part of a carnival float, were attacked by two others watching the parade on March 2, around 5.30pm.
The three men suffered serious facial injuries, and after medical examinations and hospital care, they filed the complaint with the police.
Investigations yielded evidence against the two suspects and arrest warrants were secured.
Police arrested them around 4pm and took them into custody for interrogation.
