Man killed in road accident

A 25-year-old man was killed early on Friday in Xylotymbou after the buggy he was driving overturned.

His 31-year-old co-passenger was injured.

The buggy overturned at the Xylotymbou roundabout at 2.30am under conditions which are being investigated.

The driver, Giorgos Constantinou, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Larnaca general hospital.

His passenger, a 31-year-old man, was treated for minor injuries and released.

It is believed that none of the two men had seat belts on.
