Danish design ideas for sustainable urban development are featured in this video, drawn from the 2017 Buenos Aires Architecture Biennial.

We take a particularly close look the innovative ‘8 House’, designed by Bjarke Ingels, founding partner of the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), a Copenhagen- and New York-based group of architects, designers and builders. 8 house is a large mixed-use development built in the shape of a figure eight on the southern perimeter of Copenhagen’s new suburb of Ørestad.

The video makes the case for why urban liveability must be based in a decision-making process in which all city stakeholders participate.
