Coronavirus: Police book 74 people and three establishments for violating measures

ΠΡΟΣΑΓΩΓΗ ΥΠΟΠΤΩΝ ΣΤΟ ΕΠΑΡΧΙΑΚΟ ΔΙΚΑΣΤΗΡΙΟ ΛΑΡΝΑΚΑΣ

Police issued fines to 74 individuals and three establishments over the past 24 hours for violating measures against the spread of the coronavirus.

The force said they carried out 5,693 inspections across the island, most in the Nicosia district, 2,143, where two people were reported.

In Limassol, police carried out 1,025 checks and reported 41 people and one establishment, while in Larnaca, 18 individuals and an establishment were fined during 1,098 checks.

Paphos police carried out 526 checks and issued fines to one establishment and four people. Seven individuals were fined in Famagusta during 542 checks and two in the Morphou area in 336 checks.
