Man found dead in his car in Aglandjia

A 44-year-old man was found dead in his car in Aglandjia, Nicosia police said on Friday.

During preliminary examinations, his death appeared to be due to a drug overdose.

Police found the body around 1pm after a member of the public reported seeing a man slumped and apparently unconscious in the car.

An ambulance was called and the man transferred to Nicosia general hospital were doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

Officers who searched his car found drug related paraphernalia.
