Over 250 new parking spaces for Nicosia

Nicosia municipality is creating 260 more parking spaces with the aim of attracting more visitors to the centre of the capital.

In a written announcement, the municipality said that 54 additional parking spaces are available in the new parking on Trikoupi Street, including five for people with disabilities.

It also announced the expansion of the Tembon parking space that currently has 33 spaces and three for people with disabilities.

At the moment, parking on Trikoupi Street is available for free to the public while Tempon parking is free after 4pm.

The mayor of Nicosia, Constantinos Yiorkadjis, said that another two small parking spaces are under construction on Eshilou Street with 14 parking spaces including two for people with disabilities and another smaller parking with nine spaces.

Meanwhile, the bidding offer for the renovation of GSP stadium is also expected to be completed soon, which will create 570 additional parking spaces.
