New Bulgari hotel slated for 2022 Rome opening

Italian luxury brand Bulgari has its sights set on a 2022 opening for a new Rome hotel.

The Hotel will be located in the heart of the Campo Marzio neighbourhood, minutes from the Spanish Steps, Via del Corso and the Bulgari flagship on Via Condotti.

It will occupy a magnificent modernist building from the 1930s, facing two of Rome’s most iconic landmarks: the Ara Pacis and the Mausoleum of Augustus, the first Roman emperor.

Materials such as ochre Travertine marble and burnt red brick will emphasise the link to Augustine Rome, while a rotating collection of modern and antique art will conjure different facets of the Eternal City’s legacy as one of the world’s most beautiful metropolises and an enduring cradle of arts and culture.

The premium development will include 140 spacious and airy suites, a 20m indoor swimming pool, a 1,000-square-metre spa, an ultra-modern gym, and a library dedicated to the study of jewellery.
