A 79-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the explosion last February of a device placed on the car of a 40-year-old man in Limassol.

The suspect was arrested after police secured a testimony linking him with the case. It is believed it concerns financial differences.

The incident took place at around 4am on February 22 when an explosion extensively damaged the car parked outside the house of the 40-year-old in Ekali, in Limassol.
