The Nicosia district court remanded a man for four days on Wednesday on suspicion of grooming a child for sexual exploitation using social media, police said.

The suspect was arrested on Tuesday following a search of his house where officers found a mobile phone. A second mobile phone was also found on the man’s possession.

The devices were confiscated for forensic examination, police said.
