Digital solutions that make cooking healthy, green and affordable

Students at the International School of Paphos (ISOP) created an innovative business that makes cooking easy, through their participation in the Student Business programme by Junior Achievement (JA), which aims to foster a new generation of entrepreneurs, innovators and politically-minded people.

JA teaches students that their business idea can become a reality, while also offering them the opportunity to gain practical experience on how to manage their business. Specifically, eight ISOP students created QuickMealz, a company that offers digital solutions to problems related to cooking, based on the sustainable development goals of the United States, i.e., responsible consumption and production, innovation, good health and well-being.

QuikMealz is a very useful cooking tool. Through the Recipe Generator app available on the company’s website, users can enter the ingredients of their choice and through AI technology, get information on recipes that are completely aligned with their needs. It should be noted that users can also filter recipes, based on their different preferences, such as calories, difficulty and time, while they can also find recipes based on what leftovers they have at home, also helping address the food waste problem. Another innovative characteristic is that users can take a photo of an impressive meal and upload it on the QuickMealz website, which will in turn offer them the best recipe to cook a similar meal. At the same time, through the website, users can also view videos and recipe books and get useful information on recipes.

ISOP wishes to congratulate its students for their innovative idea: Arian Adeli Koodehi, CEO, Christopher Luizinho, General Manager, Marco Elverdal, IT Director, Tatiana Vinogradova, Marketing Director, Elli Paphitis, CFO, Doan Nguyen, Representative, Lucy Chojnowski, Product Owner, Anahita Golastaneh, HR Director.

QuickMealz’s services are available via the www.QuikMealz.com website as well as via the mobile app for Android, with an iPhone App coming soon.
