Innovative community service ideas for teens (part 1)

Hey kids, we know how important volunteering is to members of Gen Z.

We see you mobilising your friends and peers to create awareness about important topics like climate change and environmental preservation, and to help raise funds for important causes.

And we know that your generation is the most informed yet about the changes the world needs to be a healthier and more caring place for all beings.

But sometimes, you just need some ideas, to point you in the right direction. After all, not everyone is suited to every kind of volunteering project.

So, in this video – the first in a two-part series – we’ll go over some innovative ways that you can be involved in helping your community… there may be a few that surprise you! One or two of the ideas are specific to America, but the majority are applicable wherever you happen to live.

The ideas are shared by Amber Melanie Smith, who heads the non-profit organisation Activate Good.

(And if you want to view the second video in this series, it can be found here.)

Have fun… and do good!
