Live music continues in Paphos

live music in paphos

A week has passed since cafés, bars and restaurants re-opened, or at least those with an outdoor seating area, and crowds have already rushed to get a table.

And in keeping with this live music events have already taken place with more to follow this week in Paphos. On Thursday, Kirsty Dewar returns to Searays Café bar in Peyia for an afternoon of live music with her guitar covering artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Pink, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Elvis, Van Morrison, Coldplay and more. The live music begins at 2pm with no extra cover charge but table reservations have to be made by calling 99-617415.

On the following day, Searays café has one more performance scheduled for 2pm, this one with a touch of soul and Motown classics. Entertainer Geoff Rey will perform a mix of Northern soul and a touch of Reggae in his own style, developed with over 20 years of entertaining across the UK and Europe as a solo performer or when working in a vocal trio or band.

On Sunday Soul, Groove, RnB and Reggae will sound at the Hogshead Pub in Emba, Paphos as Trio Frisson perform a live set. As one of the island’s leading soul music ensembles, their music is fused with a range of influences including World music and Jazz. Their performance, part of the Paphos Sessions series of live music events, will start at 5pm with limited outdoor seating.
