Paphos municipality on Tuesday announced there would be water cuts in various parts of town due to damage to the Water Development Department’s pipeline.

“It is expected that there will be a problem with the water supply in various areas of the city,” the municipality said in a brief announcement.

“A team from the department is working to repair the damage as soon as possible,” it added.

The municipality is calling on the public to limit water consumption as much as possible to “avoid aggravation of the problem”.
