The Animal Party announced on Tuesday it will run in the parliamentary elections with 19 candidates in all districts.

The party said it continues its political, humanitarian and animal welfare interventions, fulfilling what it has promised since its establishment in 2014, that it would make animal issues political issues “worthy of reference, discussion and policy promotion.”

It also said it was established to include in the political decision-making system of Cyprus, effective strategies and structures for animal welfare.
