A new band is making its Nicosia debut this Saturday at Kafeneio To Leoforio. Candy Soul will introduce their sound to Nicosia, performing a fusion of Soul, Pop and Jazz.

The quartet, though new, features a passionate and experienced set of musicians – Malvina Charalambides on vocals, Christos Yerolatsitis on keyboard, Andreas Rodosthenous on electric bass and George Koulas on drums.

Organised by Cloud10 Music Agency in collaboration with Kafeneio Leoforio, Saturday’s performance will be a colourful one with live music starting at 7.30pm. Audiences can expect songs from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Etta James, Marvin Gaye, Van Morrison, Norah Jones, Sting, Ray Charles, Amy Winehouse, Ben E. King and more.

Places are limited at the Kafeneio as the venue hosts only about 20-something tables but is one of the few establishments to offer weekly live music. Their almost-daily lives have gathered quite a following with many regulars returning again and again.
