Anorthosis celebrate scoring the winning goal

A 19th minute goal by Nikos Kaltsas was enough to give Anorthosis a 1-0 win over Apoel in the first leg of their Cyprus Cup semi-final in Larnaca on Wednesday afternoon.

Anorthosis did well to grab victory after playing almost all of the second half with ten men, following the dismissal of Murtaz Daushvili for two yellow cards.

The first leg of the second semi-final between Olympiakos and AEL produced a shock, with the Nicosia side beating the high-flying Limassol club 4-2.
