Five-car highway crash leaves one driver injured, not seriously

An accident involving five cars happened on Wednesday morning on the road from Limassol to Platres.

According to police a driver, heading towards Limassol, collided with a car he was trying to overtake.

As a result, he lost control of the vehicle and hit another three cars coming from the opposite direction.

Four of the five drivers were taken to Limassol hospital by ambulance.

Only one of them was slightly injured.

The accident did not affect the flow of traffic, police said.
