How to manage cat stress when moving to a new home

Every pet deserves a loving and respectful home: please only consider acquiring a pet if you will be able to take care of its long-term needs. Also, consider choosing your animal companion from a shelter, where there are so many wonderful furry friends who need a forever home.

Often, at this time of year, rental contracts expire and it becomes time to find new digs before the true heat of the summer kicks in.

This can be stressful enough when it’s just you in the picture… but moving with pets, especially cats, can make the move an even bigger challenge. In this video, veterinarian Dr. Uri Burstyn offers his advice to making relocating easier and less distressing for both you and your feline companion.
