Luxury stays: the Belmond Hotel Cipriani, Venice

In this video, Grand Luxury Hotels co-founders and brothers, Ivan and Rouslan Lartisien, present refinement against the backdrop of Venice’s waterways, in a tour of the Belmond Hotel Cipriani.

In a city of luxury hospitality set among centuries-old palazzos and narrow streets, the Belmond Hotel Cipriani is a unique address, sitting across the lagoon from Saint Mark’s Square and sprawled on the eastern tip of Giudecca island.

The hotel was opened in 1958 by Giuseppe Cipriani, founder of Harry’s Bar in Venice and inventor of the Bellini cocktail. Rooms were decorated with Venetian furnishings, including Murano glass chandeliers, Fortuny fabrics and Venetian artworks.

Flash forward to today, and the chic accommodation continues to stand out, in a class of its own, giving its celebrity clientele ample opportunity for relaxation, pampering and celebrating life.
