Who is in the new parliament

Disy retained is position as the largest party in the House after Sunday’s elections for new MPs although it saw its number of seats reduced, as did the other large party opposition Akel.

Disy has 17 seats (one less than 2016), Akel 15 (one less than 2016), Diko retains 9 seats, Greens increased their seats from two to three, Edek from three to four, Dipa gets four seats and Elam doubled its representation from two seats to four.

The MPs are:

Disy 17 (27.8%)

Nicosia: Averof Neophytou, Demetris Demetriou, Nicos Tornaritis, Haris Georgiades, Savia Orphanidou

Limassol: Efthymios Diplaros, Fotini Tsiridou, Nikos Sykas

Famagusta: Kyriakos Hadjiyiannis, Giorgos Karoullas, Onoufrios Koulla, Nikos Georgiou

Larnaca: Annita Demetriou, Prodromos Alambritis

Pafos: Charalammbos Pazaros

Kyrenia: Marios Mavrides, Rita Theodorou Superman


Akel 15 (22.3%)

Nicosia: Andros Kyprianou, Irini Charalambidou, Stefanos Stefanou, Aristos Damianou, Giorgos Loukaides, Christos Christofides

Limassol: Costas Costa, Andreas Kafkalias, Marina Nicolaou
