Sunbed rental in Napa can now be paid for by card

A lazy day at the beach for sun-seekers in Ayia Napa just got easier: sunbeds and umbrellas can be paid for by credit card, the mayor said on Tuesday.

The new payment system will be available at Nisi beach and other favourite spots.

But Ayia Napa mayor Christos Zannettou has said the option will be valid for all of the town’s beaches.

He said that following last year’s pilot programme, and resolving some of the issues which arose, credit card payments are being rolled out to more beaches.

Zannettou said the programme seeks to help achieve the highest degree of hospitality and convenience for beachgoers.
