Fire services rescue woman trapped in car after collision

A woman trapped in her car after a collision in Protaras on Monday evening was freed by the fire service and taken to Famagusta Hospital, the fire service said on Tuesday.

The fire service was called in after two cars collided on Protaras Avenue in the Cape Greco area at 9.15 on Monday night. The woman was trapped in the car and fire fighters had to cut through the roof of the car to free her. She was taken by ambulance to hospital.
