A 31-year-old man from Ukraine, wanted by authorities in his country for prostitution related offences, has been arrested upon his arrival at Larnaca airport, police said on Tuesday.

According to the police the suspect arrived from abroad around noon on Monday. It emerged during passport control that the Ukrainian authorities had an international arrest warrant against him for the repeated recruitment of persons for prostitution.
