Every pet deserves a loving and respectful home: please only consider acquiring a pet if you will be able to take care of its long-term needs. Also, consider choosing your animal companion from a shelter, where there are so many wonderful furry friends who need a forever home.

Keeping rabbits takes a special kind of sensitivity from their human companions in order to thrive. They are skittish, yet still need companionship and play; can be fearful and require reassurance and adaptation to their natural behaviours in a range of ways.

In this video, animal welfare volunteer Amy, of the Bunny Lady YouTube channel, covers a range of practices that will contribute to a happy, healthy pet, while ensuring they feel safe, nurtured and stimulated.
