Properly prepared, the dish features an irresistible smoky, sweet taste, and is sure to become a summer hit – especially with kids, who will particularly enjoy the bite-size chunks of scissor-cut beef.

Chef John recommends pairing the meat with rice and coleslaw, and topping it off with green onion and cilantro or cilantro flowers.
