The health ministry said on Tuesday it will facilitate members of the public who have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine abroad to get the second one here as part of ongoing efforts to increase vaccination coverage.
Initially, the scheme will be available only to those who are Cypriot citizens or permanent residents of the Republic or Gesy-beneficiaries, it said.
Requests can be made by calling 1474 or sending an email to [email protected] stating the name and surname, ID documentation (ID, passport or aliens registration), date of birth, date of first dose of vaccine, type of vaccine, contact number, email and district where the applicant lives.
The appointments will be made available shortly after the request is submitted, therefore would-be beneficiaries should apply after their arrival in Cyprus, the ministry said.
