Paphos police have arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of illegal possession of property.

The arrest came after police received information about two people causing public nuisance and vandalising property and cars near the Dasoudi a few minutes before midnight on Friday.

Officers who arrived at the scene found two men, aged 46 and 19, moving suspiciously in the area. Police said they carried out a body search and found a camera on the 46-year-old for which he could not provide sufficient explanation as why it was in his possession.

The older man was arrested for illegal property possession, while the 19-year-old was released, police said.
