An 80-year-old man is hospitalised in critical condition after he was found unconscious in the sea off Psarolimano in Larnaca, police said on Tuesday.
The man appears to have lost consciousness while he was swimming and was spotted by lifeguards around 1.30pm on Monday, police said.
He was transferred via ambulance at the Larnaca general hospital where he is intubated in the ICU in critical condition.
