Yoga and wellness retreat coming up in September

yoga retreat

Three days filled with various types of yoga, meditation, swimming and relaxing are coming to a Paphos village this September as the Cocoon Wellness Centre prepares its third yoga holiday retreat. Over September 3, 4 and 5 participants will have the chance to reconnect with themselves in a serene environment overlooking the sea.

“Our goal is to relax both our mind and body,” say organisers, “by practising a morning and evening flow of Yoga and Meditation, by experiencing new fun activities, by walking barefoot on sand, and by sharing all these with other unique souls.”

Each day will begin with an early morning meditation and yoga flow, followed by a breakfast buffet at Val’s Place. And it’s a breakfast with a view, lounging on the hammocks! The following few hours will be spent by the sea and upon returning and re-gathering, the evening activities will commence. Friday’s dinner will be arranged in a nearby tavern, while on Saturday guests will dine again at Val’s place with music.

A more detailed programme will be given to the participants upon expressing interest in the retreat. Different room options and packages are available from the organisers (99-325558, [email protected]).

“When the world moves too fast, and we lose ourselves in the chaos,” conclude the organisers, “let’s introduce ourselves to each colour of the sunset. Let’s feel the earth beneath our feet. Let’s thank the air that surrounds us in every breath. Let’s find ourselves in stillness and in the appreciation of life.”
